INTRODUCTION:

Iberville Parish has an extensive Mosquito Abatement Program. One of the top priorities of this program is the weekly spraying throughout the parish. This service, along with public education efforts, assist in the prevention of mosquito-borne diseases, such as: West Nile Virus, Encephalitis, Yellow Fever, Dengue Fever, Malaria and Equine Infectious Anemia.
