SERVICES

  • Coordinates and provides for residential trash collection through a contract with Progressive Waste. 
  • Progressive Waste boom Truck collects large items, tree limbs, lumber, bicycles, lawnmowers and concrete debris
  • Provides trash and litter collection via inmate labor from Hunt's Correctional Institute. This crew works four days a week
  • Provides trash and litter collection by Iberville Parish Jail trustees at parish boat ramps and other public facilities, helps the elderly with trash problems.
  • Parish owned Boom Truck is used to help clean up construction debris at homes; and large trash items on other public property.
  • Conducts the annual parishwide clean up.
  • Cleaned up and maintains Bayou Plaquemine and Bayou Grosse Tete waterways.
