The Iberville Parish Council is receiving letters of intent to service and resume’s for  the following Commissions and Boards:

RC&D COUNCIL (CAPITAL RESOURCE CONSERVATION & DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL)

4 Appointments to be filled

Meets - 1^st Wednesday of each month - Hammond, LA

Qualifications:

• Indivduals who have vision, knowledge of local needs, a strong sense of community and a natural resource based interest in the following: agriculture, forests, conservation, economic development, environment, erosion control, flooding, wildlife, water quality

• A member needs to represent local interests but maintain an “area outlook” on projects/activities

• Minorities and women are highly encouraged to apply for membership

Meets with representatives of Iberville, West Baton Rouge and Pointe Coupee Parishes. Times and dates to be determine by board.

• Member of the business and labor community
