- Maintains drainage in 600 plus miles of canals throughout Iberville Parish.
- Maintains public property throughout the parish. A total of 10 tractors are utilized for grass-cutting services.
- Installs culverts. The Parish will install culverts purchased by homeowners in order to assure proper installation and grade, so that proper drainage is assured.
- Maintains roads by repairing potholes, picking up fallen tree limbs and inspecting roadways for stability.
- Oversees road overlay projects, such as the projects underway in 2005 on Gracie Lane, Sawmill Road and Manchac Road.
- Sprays parish canals to kill weeds and maintain proper drainage.
