The Boom Truck Collection Service was added in order to better serve the residents of Iberville Parish and keep the Parish clean. It is in addition to the SWDI Boom Truck and residential collection service already being provided to residents.
SWDI Residential Boom Truck Collection Guidelines For Iberville Parish
Residential Boom Truck service is provided one day a week. Following is information and guidelines for Boom Truck pick-up:

- Brush should be placed in front of your home as close to the roadway as possible. Limbs removed from a tree by a contractor hired by the homeowner will not be picked up. Disposal is the contractor’s responsibility.
- No demolition, renovation, or construction debris will be collected if a contractor has been hired by the homeowner to provide service. Disposal of materials is the contractor’s responsibility.
- Service will be provided to homeowners for lumber, tree limbs, branches, and other tree parts, such as tree trunks not exceeding 8 feet in length.
- Individual lumber, limbs, branches or other tree parts put out for collection must not exceed 1000 pounds.
- Service will be provided for other trash such as bicycles, lawn mowers (free of gas and oil) and metal fencing not exceeding 8 feet in length or 1000 pounds in weight.
- No automobile, truck engines or tires will be picked up.
- No concrete will be picked up in excess of 100 pounds total weight.
- Concrete must be left in large solid pieces.
- No service will be provided on vacant lots.
- No hazardous material, such as paint, oil or batteries, will be picked up.
- Debris should be put out at the curb the night before your collection day.

White Goods Removal For Iberville Parish
White Goods will be collected by the parish with the Boom Truck. White goods includes large household appliances, including but not limited to:

- Stoves
- Refrigerators
- Freezers
- Washing Machines
- Clothes Dryers
- Dishwashers
- Air Conditioners

Route 1 – Eastside of Hwy 1 from West Baton Rouge Parish line to Main Street. Main Street from Seminary Street to Bayou Road. Eastside of Ferdinand Street to Belleview Road. Northside of Belleview Road to Hwy 405. Route 2 – Hwy 75 from Jack Miller’s Landing to the end of Hwy 75 at Bayou Pigeon and Hwy 308. |

Garbage or Boom Truck collection problem
If you are not receiving sufficient garbage collection or boom truck service, call SWDI at 225-685-1117. If you still do not get satisfactory service, call the Solid Waste Department at 225-692-3844. |
