Sewer service is provided for Bayou Goula, Dorseyville, Timberlanes and Patreaux LaneThe parish also maintains the sewer system in portions of Plaquemine, including Dupont Annex, Seymourville and St. Louis Subdivision.

 Getting sewer service

If the sewer line has already been extended to the business or residence in which service is sought, no deposit is required to start service.

If a sewer tie-in is required, the cost is $150 for residences and commercial businesses. This fee must be paid to the Iberville Permits and Inspections Office, located in the Parish Council offices on the second floor of the Iberville Courthouse on Meriam Street in Plaquemine.

Paying for sewer service

Sewer bills can be paid at the Iberville Parish Utility Department office on Bayou Road in Plaquemine. A drop box is available for payments after business hours.

Credit card payments for utilities are accepted by calling 1-800-272-9829. You must have the jurisdiction code for the utility you wish to pay, the account number and the amount of payment to pay by phone. The jurisdiction code for sewer service is 2809.

Payments are also accepted via the internet by going to the website: www.officialpayments.com. In order to pay via the internet, you must have the account number and the amount of payment.
